For 18 years, I carried guilt and shame for choosing abortion to fix a problem during one of my relationships.  I never knew the devastating impact this decision would have on my life.

After years of addictions and bad relationships, I sought help in turning my life around. While sharing my struggles with a friend, I discovered that my life started falling apart after I pressured my girlfriend to have an abortion.

Through the "Healing A Father's Heart" 10-week study offered by the Men of Hope program at Hope Women's Centers, I learned how to be the man that God created me to be and to forgive myself for the hurt and destruction I have caused in other lives. I learned that there was healing and reconciliation possible following an abortion.
